JAN FENNA`S COTTAGE

This newly renovated cottage is actually part of the history of the farm. The cottage was named after the man that lived in it for many years and became a well-known legend on the farm. Jan Fenna started working with Hannes `s granddad and was still working on the farm when Hannes started farming. His descendants is still living and working on the farm.

The cottage is situated on top of a hill and has a breathtaking view over the farm and countryside. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and big kitchen – and living room area. It can sleep 5 people.The living room has an extra bed which can be used as a coach or a bed. The interior of the Guest House spilled over onto the cottage and it is furnished and decorated in the old Cape Dutch style. It is fully equipped with modern gas appliances, battery – operated lanterns and romantic candles. Linen and towels are provided.

The cottage has two fireplaces, one inside and one outside. The fireplace in the kitchen is ideal for making a roaring fire in the cold winter months, but can also be used as an indoor barbeque area.

The big veranda invites people to venture out and experience the comfort of a nice leather coach with colourful pillows and designer wooden chairs. The table and chairs make it easy to have your breakfast outside while planning your day.

The veranda also has a build in fireplace for outside use. If you are brave, you can use the open-air shower and feel one with nature.

Visitors to the cottage can do self-catering OR have breakfast and dinner at the main house. We also provide the option of having your dinners delivered to you at the cottage.
